As an urgent care centre, we strive to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services to our patients.
Bulk Billing Commitment:
Our urgent care centre is committed to bulk billing for all eligible patients. This means that patients will not be charged any out-of-pocket expenses for their consultation or treatment.
Overseas Travellers
If you’re an international traveller with insurance coverage, we are here to assist you in obtaining the essential documentation required for your insurance claim.
Billing Process:
Patients will be asked to present their Medicare card at the time of their consultation. Our urgent care centre will then directly bill Medicare for the cost of the consultation or treatment. If you do not have a Medicare card, but you need urgent treatment, the consultation will be provided at no cost to the patient.
Services Covered:
Bulk billing covers the following services provided by our urgent care centre:
- Consultation with a general practitioner or nurse practitioner
- Minor surgical procedures, including wound repair and removal of foreign bodies
WorkCover
At the Minor Accident and Illness Centre, we understand the importance of timely care for WorkCover injuries. That’s why we offer a seamless experience with no out-of-pocket expenses. If you are eligible, your consultation with be covered by the WorkCover insurance system.
